Add me to this club, I run the BFGs though.

Honestly, coming from the Nissan Frontier world where I had 3" of lift and 33s, with a 14" longer wheelbase and a solid 1.5 inches less ground clearance than my 3 inch lifted 200, anything bigger is a waste of money and MPG for me. I'm a devotee of skinnier tires when possible for offroad use, and after seeing the clearance I have with the 275/65, I dunno that I need to get any more rubber under me than I do now.

The 275/70/18 KO2s I ran for many years were perfect. If I weren’t a petulant child, I would still be running them but I went bigger…

Did you lose mileage with the 70s?
Tough to say, I did suspension and a bunch of other stuff at the same time. My guess is yes, but only slightly.

The thing I always have to remind myself is that the the car is going further per gallon than the car states… I went up 5%+ in overall diameter so even if mileage went down slightly it may have been a wash.

The 200 just looks right in that size. Great build

I just installed 18x9 Icon Rebounds with 25mm offset using stock size tires 285/60/18 with no rubbing. The tires do stick out slightly past the fender. I do have the OEM front coil spacer installed but I don't think it would make any difference.

@99Cruiser , thanks for jumping in with your info. That's a good looking setup! I've looked at those wheels as well. Makes me feel better about my sizing.

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a sanity check on wheel/tire combo I'm ready to pull the trigger on.
I've searched around and seen similar sizes but nothing matching exactly as I'm thinking.

The wheel is the Method 305 in bronze and black size 18x9 with 25/6" backspacing. If I'm understanding correctly, this will stick out 33mm further than stock.

Tire size will be same as stock but a beefier Toyo Open Country AT III in 285/60 18.

I'm not planning on doing a lift at this time.

Will I have any rubbing or other issues? Anything I'm not thinking of?
Thanks in advanceView attachment 3670507

Those wheels in same spec on my rig with slightly larger 285/65/18. No rubbing. Lift has no effect.

Wondering how I get these bad boys to fit my rig without rubbing? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I've been trying to search but not great at it.

I can get a killer deal on some Zero offset 17" rims. I have a 2013 LX570, stock. Can anyone link to what would be needed to get to 34s or small 35s to fit and just how much cutting would be needed?

35s are straightforward but at Zero offset it is gonna be a ton of work and even then you are gonna have issues stuffing them

More info here:

It can be done, but I would not let a deal on a set of wheels guide this decision. Think it through and decide if it's really the setup you want.

I’m just not all that handy so it’s why I’m hesitant. Thank you. I’m gonna pass most likely. Trying to make a long haul road tripping vehicle and don’t want tires sticking out and throwing up crap.

Am I missing where the link for the 200 series database?

I've been looking at available rim/tire options and would like to go with KO2 LT275/70R17.
I have not found the PN for a 5 lug steelie that I could use. (Ideally an equivalent to the hollander 69504) Any suggestions?

UPDATE: I ended up selecting the 42611-60631 OEM wheel - It will replace the 20" stock rims (PN: 4261A60010 - Hollander: 74212B)

Same - not seeing the link or download for the Wheel and Tire database.
I'm getting the bug to change the stock wheels.

Anyone running the 18 inch Method 321's with the 18mm offset? 18 offset seems to be outside the 25-50mm LC recommendation but is it really that bad?
