Noob question here - why are you more likely to get rubbing in reverse than when driving forward?
Noticed the wasn't answered, I get rubbing in reverse near full lock. Only thing I can think of is the tires move forward just enough in the wheel well when reversing to cause this issue.

Has anyone installed Ridge Grapplers in 275/65/18? I found a great deal on a set locally and they're pretty close to the same size as the current 285/60/18 Michelins that came on my 2011 (stock wheels) when I bought it.

Is there anything I should consider before I go pick them up?

Haha, fair enough I guess. Regardless, I just picked up the set of 4 for $500 with less than 2,000 miles on them (take-offs from a '21 Tundra). Can't really beat that when I was already actively in the market for a new set of AT's but didn't want to deal with any rubbing, speedo accuracy, or a off-sized spare. That's practically half of what I was planning to spend on a set from the tire shop.

For anyone looking... Method 701 Wheels (+25mm offset) with Nitto RG 275/70/18s.

Rub: Yes... I fixed MOST of the rub by simply removing the front mud flaps. Still have some minor rub at full articulation. Havent quite narrowed it down yet, but should likely be resolved with the fender liner mod. Im not terribly concerned, as its not an issue during every day driving. Ill take some time to figure it out and then report back.

You will find A LOT of people on here who swear by the Ridge Grapplers, including me. I ran that size when I moved my Duratracs over from the Range Rover, and they fit just fine. I think you will be happy with them.

After much deliberation and research for tires, I ended up going with 285/65 r18 KO2’s on stock height and wheels. I’m incredibly happy with how they drive, how they fit, and my fuel economy surprisingly went up from my previous tires (possibly due to PSI not being right in my old tires). Hopefully this helps someone out there going down a research rabbit hole!

Looks amazing. What wheel fenders are those?

This looks soooo good!!! Stance, color combo and cleanness makes your truck just perfect!!!

Thank you! I gave up the idea of running 295/70/18, 285/75/17 felt like a better size but wanted to check if I still needed KDSS relocation.
In my opinion, 285/75/17 is a great size looks-wise. Nice proportions rim to tire and over all for size of vehicle.

That’s good to know. I am planing to get Nitto Ridge Grapplers, was planning to go for KM3s but they are back ordered 4-6 weeks and also felt the MT tires might not be ideal of freeway.

For the database - 2013 LC200 just swapped out of stock size KO2’s (40k miles just getting crazy loud. Plenty of tread left) for 275/70/18 Toyo AT3’s. I also added the OEM LC front coil spacers. On stock wheels. I have zero rub at full lock in forward or reverse. I know a lot of guys have been looking for info on the AT3 on the 200 specifically so I hope this helps. It’s a light tire at 55lbs for E rated. Coil spacers helped stop the notorious brake dive too and make the truck look more balanced. Drives better than stock IMO. New tires way quieter than my KO2’s were even when they were new. Feels softer though so will see how many miles I get on the Toyo’s. Only negative I’ve seen so far is I wish Toyo beefed up the sidewall tread a little more. Not as aggressive of a look but I’ll swap that for performance I guess. Wife has the grabber ATX on her Disco 5 that look better/more aggressive mounted. Just wanted to try the toyos. Fresh snow tomorrow morning so will see how they do and update.

Completely stock 2021 Land Cruiser on BFG KO2 AT's in 275/70/18 on stock wheels, no spacers. No rubbing at any point full lock to full lock.
