I was up there pre-Durhamtown and I'm sure there are a lot more trails now. I was there in my built 100 and had a blast. Did get pin stripes, and there were places I wouldn't want to go in the 200, but beautiful place, easy enough trails that getting around was not a problem, great views and at least when I was there, very little traffic. Secluded slice of paradise for sure. Need to get back up there!

Are you getting jerry can carrier for left side? Does it have hi/jack lift points and jack mounting tabs?

No Jerry can holder. I have no real need for them 99.9999% of the time, and since the wife will be driving it periodically, I think 1 swingout will be easier than 2.

Yeah, they closed the old Tellico ORP a few years ago, but Durhamtown is privately owned and just as pretty. They basically own the entire mountain, so it's gorgeous up there, and the views are amazing. It was also about 20 degrees cooler than the ATL. If you have kids or like to camp, you can kill two birds with one stone...offroading and camping at the same place.

Nantahala valley / forest / what have you (Bryson NC) is in between those two spots as well. I did some mtb-ing, rafting and back packing (tellico gap) there - fun spot - check it out before you roll out. I chased white water up the east coast for a summer, years ago. Started down on the Ocoee (in TN) and worked my way up to the New river. Saw lots of jeeps and offroad buggies on that trip - back roads it where its at.

Do it...it's only about two hours from North ATL, and the Nantahala is not too far away once you're up there. PM me if you want any more info.

Yep... I was where you were. It was a "private" park for a few years and I got in on a guest pass... probably 4 years ago maybe.

Testing for 2016 dakar started. I don't think the new land cruiser update will be drastically new if the are still using 2008 body style maybe add new nose for actual race?
