I just added some new pictures of the Land Cruiser in Alaska. A beautiful but very cold day too: minus 40F this time. It was a clear day so Mount McKinley was visible (highest peak in North America at 20,320 feet). Locals can attest that it's a rare sight. More pictures here: >>Land Cruiser Alaska

Great pictures. Love the Aurora!

Are you on a standard suspension or is that lifted?

Thanks.

Well, hell, because I can hit up 3 threads with one pic... . . had fun with some soap and a hose and the light seemed ok to snap a poser pic.

what, no 80?

nice collection, very envious.

Very nice, WoodyCreature. I like them ... alot!

Didn't think the 200 is so much bigger than the 100.

Here is my just finished Aussie "Arctic Truck" Mod. One of the few (if not only) 200's on 35's in Australia! Flares from Fjallasport and Wheels from Arctic Truck (both in Iceland).

You MUST start your own thread and provide DETAILS. I'm in love!

I REALLY want to bump up to 35's some day. Can you please elaborate on tire choice, wheels, suspension, bump stops, etc???

How much hacking at the wheel wells did it take?

Hi JB,

I have watched your posts with interest, so am not surprised to see you jump on this:) I was also looking into as to how for some time. Not that difficult or costly in the end, did all the work myself though.

Most of the build (inc more photo's) can be found here.

Wheels- Arctic truck 17x10" +35mm offset.
Tyres- 315/70/17 MT MTZ's.
Suspension- OME 2" lift
Bump Stops- slightly modified (softer/progressive) but hardly any taller than factory, clearances maintained and full travel available.

Further details, contacts and pricing etc per link (hope it helps).

Cheers
Steve

How did you manage to accomodate a spare 35 tire underneeth?

The spare tyre fits with about 8-10mm gap to the Panhard.

It's sitting slightly lower than OEM position, as I have a 70l Longranger aux tank also, slight sheel metal bend up at the back, that's it.

This tyre is 34.5", a full 35" also fits, just needs deflating.
