Added another 2500 or so to the truck over the last weekend. Mostly back/dirt roads from SLC to Tucson and back. Some hiking, some golf, some sitting around doing nothing then home for Christmas.

Are pics of 200 series owners acceptable?

Broke my left tibula skiing on Monday morning. Never saw the value of Titanium anything, but now I've got a titanium plate and seven screws in me. Upgrades! Should have asked the doc to slide a 2" spacer in there to give me a lift, too.

Hope you heal up quickly!

Tell me about the un-tinted windows, please and thanks! I see this in overseas versions routinely and dream of it for my 2017!

From what I can tell through research and scanning online listings, the US spec ‘08 model year left the factory with a light grayish/green window tint on the rear windows. I think that may be what you’re referring to as this conservative factory tint is much lighter than what was later offered on ‘09+ 200s in the US - to the point that the windows appear to have no tint at all.

I just returned from a trip overseas and know what you’re talking about. I would venture to guess Toyota is still using this lighter tint for 200s in foreign markets.

Always feels strange seeing how your car looks while driving behind it View attachment 2167561

Wow. That back end looks soooo different that US spec 200’s. The smooth transition to the rear pillars, no tailgate...and lack of spoiler truly changes the look.
