Hell’s is mall like . What other trails are you hitting?View attachment 1967605
Somewhere near the mall known as Hell’s Revenge.
Hell’s is mall like . What other trails are you hitting?
That looks Freaking Gangster! I LOVE IT!Thank you for understanding and for the kind words. My goal visually is to have something aggressive and iconic. Really enamored with how it looks, and I still have my stock wheels if I want to throw some 285/65R18's on them and go wheeling hardcore. It's just wheels. Regardless, I don't have a lift and I wouldn't be hitting any hard trails that would challenge my fenders. I finished the fender liner modifications yesterday and tried to torture test it going over hard bumps and a little bit of dirt road action, and it did fine over the bumps and dips. (Speedbumps were fine too) I understand those with concerns, and I did evaluate them in making my decision to go with 0 offset wheels and I'm incredibly happy with what I did end up going with.
For comparison, kreiten is running 18x9+20 on 285/70R18 - his wider wheel has just 13.7mm less effective poke than I do, and his tire is a whole inch taller than mine, and he is running a 2" Ironman lift. He is probably one of the most aggressive wheelers on this forum, and his setup is "unorthodox" by these standards. My setup is fine right now for the dirt roads in the country I want to take it on for camping, and with a 2" lift and adjustable UCA's, I don't think I'll consider hard trails that would test my limits for a loooong time. North Texas is pretty flat...
Back on topic for the picture thread: gave it a wash, and I'd say it looks pretty good:

coming in or leaving the dispensary?
all kidding aside, I do hope the occupants were ok. would be interested to hear the story of how it happened....
Haha, thank you. That looks Freaking Gangster! I LOVE IT!
Thanks! They are Method MR314's in 17x8.5 +0. Note that they are ZERO offset, meaning they will stick out almost 2.5 inches (62.4mm) more than stock (18x8 +56), with about 1 of those inches being poke past the fenders. To be flush with the fender, an offset of about 18-25mm is the sweet spot. The Method MR313s come in that 17x8.5 +25 fitment (similar to the Icon wheels fitment for the LC200).Stunning! What wheels are these? Thanks

Running zero offset means you will need to take off the front mudflaps and do a good amount of fender liner modification to run them without rubbing during normal driving, and others on the forum have mentioned concerns of hitting the fender while articulating off road. Watch out for rock chips to vehicles behind you on the trail, or even the sides of your LC. The MR313 or other wheels in a +18 or more offset should not present those concerns.
I added the OEM Front Coil Spacer (Part # 43136-60020) to level out the rake and give me a slightly larger approach angle in the front, and I gotta say it looks great. After an alignment and filling the tires to the proper PSI recommended by gaijin, it rides so smooth and planted on the road.

Stock suspension - just that front coil spacer and ~33s.@timjax thank you for the detailed response!!! What suspension are you running with the oem front spacer? Also, may I ask for more pictures in the day light?![]()
