We did some wheeling yesterday on Argentine Pass, and it was a busy day. We recovered 3 stuck vehicles in snow drifts - all stock trucks running stock tires with absolutely no recovery gear or any idea how to get themselves out. One was a couple who got themselves in a pickle on a shelf road way above timberline where the back of their truck slipped off the trail and was hanging off the side. Pretty sticky situation for sure. Unfortunately I was expecting my copilot to take pics of everything, and he thought I was taking pics of everything. So other than some drone footage of the scenery and this GoPro footage of some boring trail stuff I don't have much to share!

@dukmon did you update years on your LC?

Congrats! Looks nice. How do you like the yakima RRT? I climbed in one not to long ago and thought it was really noce given the price point and weight.

To be honest, I have only used it twice and neither time was for an extended period. Everything seems well built and use is pretty easy. It rained like a mother father on us Sunday and we stayed dry.

I am not a master and deploying and repacking but I guess I'll get better with practice.

Damn if I didn't dent the roof in two places walking around on it. That never happened with my 60's or 80's. Nothing bad, they'll easily pop back out. But still..........

We sell these at the bike shop. If you think you'd like one, I bet I can direct ship to you.

Here is a photo from a recent Land Cruiser meeting at the shop:

That beer sounds dope

I failed to mention it was a small batch sour saison bock artisan farm house.

One member mentioned he was alarmed at our lack of charcuterie.

Emmy's boyfriend definitely knows how to score some points in this house:)

Did a 3 week trip through Colorado to photograph Aspen leaves and mountains. And of course to just get away. These pics are as much or more about the setting/experience as they are about the truck itself. Of course, it performed as we would all expect. Just some examples of why we have an LC.
Note: I freely share my landscape photos. Maybe not be as good as others. But some are OK. You can ignore the pics with my "model" in the pink sweatshirt. ;) All my LC friends are welcome to download (for personal, non-commercial use only) for free (do don't use the BUY button on my SmugMug account - just the download button.)
