Love the Yeti bag. Admittedly tho, I didn't buy it, it was a gift. I'm normally too cheap for that kind of purchase, but I will say this - after having it and using it, I would definitely buy it if I had to. First soft sided travel cooler I've had that doesn't leak. And, as a bonus, when you complete your product registration, you get a Yeti bottle opener which is currently stored in my armrest just above the cool box

I keep eyeballing it whenever we head into an REI. Congrats on having friends/family who gift such amazing presents!!

I see them at REI too, but lately I think to myself, "For the price of 3 of those, I could have a 50qt ARB Fridge/Freezer!

Battery Management going in on August 1st...so a Fridge probably won't be far behind.

I sold my Yeti Hopper. Packing and unpacking were too difficult because of how stiff the zippered opening is. It's difficult to get ice on top of your beer and then your hands get cut pulling your cans out.

I have an AO and a Polar Bear, both are way easier to use and hold ice for longer than I need it to.

Looks like a beast.

Careful with modifying body mounts; here in the US, if an insurance company sees body/frame mounts tampered with, they will "total out" the truck.

A builder here in my town notched the body mouths on a Tundra to fit 37s and had to buy the owner a new truck after the insurance company got wind of it.

Yeti coolers and bags are worth the money. The biggest reason to purchase them over others is the fact they don't leak a drop of water. We all know cooler boxes will leak out the spout at some point, Yeti won't. I wish they weren't so dang expensive. Problem with an ARB fridge, is you're praying it doesn't break when you're out traveling with your food.

How to Keep Ice Longer in your YETI Cooler | YETI CoolersYETI Coolers « YETI Coolers | YETI Coolers

All the rotomold coolers are pretty steep in price, but if you consider the investment you're making, spending the extra $$ starts to make cents.

Yeah, they hold ice for a pretty good time. Though that will save you some money over time, though not a whole lot, it will save you the TIME of having to fool with getting more ice so often.

But here is were you come out even or ahead; these coolers are an investment. They could easily be in your service for 15 or more years.

My longtime favorite so far as 50+ quarts coolers is the company that started it all, ICEY TEK. The folks who began YETI are an offshoot of ICEY.

I don't know, but I do know that some folks in South Africa sell flame-throwers for cars to deal with car-jackers. Not kidding. No idea what's going on in this picture though...

My Dad had a 1955 Diamond T truck with a 59 Cadillac engine in it. It had some sort of a racing cam he put in when he built the engine back in the 1960s. It used to backfire and blow flames out of the carb when he would start it occasionally. My guess is Modern Toyotas don't have that problem, but with a snorkel that might be what it would look like. :)

LC's look better with stuff on the roof...
