Seems to me that a winch would not be put to best use with the lousy front approach angle of that stock bumper :confused: An aftermarket front bumper has, IMHO, two justifications: mount for a winch and dramatically improved approach angle. In my use case, I would much rather have improved approach angle without a winch than a winch without improved approach angle.

Thank you! Our guys work really hard at making a great product for everyone. The welds do look nice but most importantly they have the proper amount of penetration for a strong weld. (sorry for the bug guts splatters in the photos. Several days on the Utah Backcountry Discovery Route will do that!) :)

Nothing yet, Do you have a recommendation?

@MT4x4
I have a couple of questions:
1. Is the only difference between Stage 1, 2 & 3 the inclusion of fog lights and the light bar?
2. What is the realistic deliver date if ordered soon?

If you need to PM me, please feel free.

Thank you.

It would be nice if they offered a version of this bumper without the hoops. I like the mounting style, quality,and tight fit but the hoops are a deal breaker.

I gotta agree with this. Those hoops look like an afterthought, and the proportions are all wrong to me. Too thin, reminds me of a kids playset.

Our hoop is made from mandrel bent DOM-SRA 1.75 x 0.095 wall tubing. We put alot of thought into the proportions and weight constraints. Any bigger tube diameter with decent wall thickness really added a significant amount of weight out over the front which was a deal breaker for us.

We made some updates: Winch is now mounted in the preferred ideal manor recommended by winch manufacturers in a foot forward orientation, Fairlead mount is now flat rather than angled down, added slots on outer corners for Hi-Lift engagement points, and the big one making a non-hoop version option.

Does the update you mention move the fairlead position higher than in this photo?

With a fairlead/flatlink stacking out from that low, leading-lower-edge mount point, seems like it could really whack rocks on approach, or when dropping the nose down from obstacles. What do you think?

How much does the bumper without the hoops weigh? Do you have these in stock or are they build to order?
