I keep seeing a similar question - If a rim fits a 2007 100 series it will fit a 1998. Yes 16" rims were factory from 98 - 02 and 18' from 03 - 07 but rims are interchangeable throughout the years. Any 07 and newer Tundra / Land cruise rim will fit - the center caps might require some trimming to work.

So that being said a 16' early LC wheel will fit a 2005 LX470.......and that LX470 wheel will fit the early 100 series years

Got inspiration and help from this forum especially with the Tundra TRD front center cap mod. I got the rims from craigslist take-offs with Toyo Open Country 285/65R18 tires with less than 2,000 miles for $750. I plastipped with Brass Monkey just to see if I like the look of the bronz-ish color. Plastip is already peeling and will paint the wheels with Dupli-Color bronze in a couple of weeks.

how much lift and did you use spacers?

I have not taken any final measurements...will need to document that soon.

Installed: OME 2860 springs, Airlift bags (5psi), OME TB, Slee 1.5" spacers, Slee diff drop, Superpro sway bars (33mm and 27mm), Trail Tailor extended sway bar links, SPC UCA's, and Iron Man Cell Foam Pro shocks.

Up on this thread! 🤘🏻

About to put in 20” Tundra OE wheels in a couple of weeks. Have a few questions lined up:

- from the pictures on this thread I believe the center caps on these wheels won’t work on an LX470 because of the front hub? - will a set of hub-centric wheel spacers solve that? I like the flat center caps on these things (rather than dome type center caps), I like it flushed and looking clean!

Hopeful to get some insights or possibly actual photos who has done this or currently has this setup with some photos for reference. Thanks in advance!

The center caps most likely wont work because they can not clear the front hubs. I dont know the specs on the 20's so they might fit, but they did not clear on my 18's so I used the LX hubcaps

Thanks. Is it the center bore diameter of the wheel spacers that will hit the hubs hence will not go in place?

Thanks. Yes...Slee 1.5" spacers all the way around.
Thanks for the info! I cut holes in my front ‘caps’ so they’d fit over the dust covers.

I have seen that done quite a bit. Just take note that the seals on the caps are not the greatest, unless they were perfectly hammered on. I would try to protect it as much as possible from the elements.

They are pricey...but once you take them out of the box, you see why.
