How did you flatten out the dust cap, just picked up a set these wheels and some TRD caps? The only issue I am aware of is the front center caps will not fit without some modifications. On my post above #242, the front center caps fit just fine after flattening out the dust cap and grinding out a little of the inside of the cap.
Geez that looks goodPut these takeoffs from a Tundra TRD Off Road on some BFG 270/70/18s a few weeks ago. Really like the look. Flirted with getting them powder coated black, but the brushed metal look works with my color scheme.
Also documented the center cap mod that others on here have done for the front two wheels. I removed the center logo from the center cap and used a hole saw to cut a hole the size of the greazd cap in the center cap. I then removed the grease cap and beat its top down flat (but be careful it doesn't lose its roundness because it still needs to fit back on). I had to grind down the sides of one grease cap as well slightly to get it to fit through the newly cut hole in the center cap. Finished product looks great.

Thanks
Dust caps were flattened with a small hammer. I really like the way @Roswell Cruiser did the his TRD caps with the drill. I used a small grinder and it took a lot longer.
Oh stop, too nice
Did you have any tire rub when you put these on? Or did you have to do anything to get it to not to? Nope, no mods needed. They fit perfect. The spare will even fit as well. I'd go for the 275/70/18s personally vs the 65, because I like a taller sidewall.Did you have any tire rub when you put these on? Or did you have to do anything to get it to not to? I'm looking at a set of P275/65/R18s
You gonna do something about the missing front center caps? Looks a little goofy being mismatched with rear.![]()

Damn you and your gorgeous wheels!!! Been on the hunt for those for months. Great looking rig!Joined the Rock Warrior club today. The stock style Michelin tires that came on it were about shot and I was able to find this set of sub-1000 mile wheel/tire Tundra take offs for less than 1/2 the price of just getting new tires. They even have the TPMS sensors. Guy just wanted them out of his super nice, climate controlled garage. I was glad to help him out! I also removed the side steps. I like the look.
