Tundra 18" for rough stuff
And Tundra Limited 20" for everyday driving

Snagged a set of 18" black/machined silver Tundra rims with used 275/65R18 Ridge Grapplers. The wife loves them. She kept bothering me about all the other mods I was doing to her truck but I was keeping the highway tires on there ... I patiently explained that the highway tires were more than adequate on every trail I've had it on so far but in the end I had to give in. Happy wife, happy life, after all.

Now I have to decide if I want to put spacers on to correct the scrub radius and get the center caps to fit, or just modify the dust caps and sand a bit out of the inside of the center cap ...
Hi, first post on the forum. I have an '02LC and these same wheels (OME 2" lift). and have the center cap issue.
Can you point me to any of the calculations regarding scrub radius you are reviewing? I'd like to see what is being corrected and how to solve for the spacer depth.

Hi, *second* post on the forum. I have an '02LC and these same wheels (OME 2" lift). and have the front center cap issue.

Please share what solution you ended up with.
I'd like to know the smallest spacer required. also, did you replace the wheel studs?

If you have the wheels bolted on and the caps in hand you should be able to measure how much spacer you'll need to get them to fit. The smallest bolt on spacer made is 3/4". You do not need to replace the studs with bolt on spacers but you will need to make sure you have a recess between the lug holes on the wheels or be willing to shave the studs down a hair if you go under 1 1/4".

First born got some upgrades to what is becoming her first car on Thursday. She's known the car for a while, but she will be surprised.

18 inch Tundra Steelies, powdercoated in FJ40 wheel gray.
265/70/18 Nitto Terra Grappler G3
No spacers, or any mods at all.

Mounted: Gorilla Acorn Nuts (black)....reminder that they come in packs of 4, so buy enough.
Mounted: Toyota Schrader 33700 EZ Sensor TPMS Sensor 42607-33012 42607-35040 315MHz from TPMS.com:
-----They work on the steel wheel from the Tundra without any issue syncing up with the 100 series. Also acquired the black valve stem kit to blend with the black lug nuts.

I'm liking the way it turned out.

Unfortunately I only have anecdotes from reading ... basically every post in this thread and a couple others before deciding on the wheels I went with.

It seems to be generally agreed upon that 1-1/4" spacers are the thinnest that will fit without shorter studs or pocketed rims. When I replace the tires that came with these wheels, I'm going to order Bora spacers in that size and I'll report back.

Big shout out to my friends who helped me piece this together!

setup:
1” spydertrax x 4

2020 Trd Pro wheels, powder coated by @ACC Toyota,
EVO Grey to match @benc front bumper and trim

275/70/18 Toyo Open Country RT

2020 Land Cruiser Heritage center caps, painted from gold to satin charcoal to match wheel powder/bumper/trim View attachment 2220996View attachment 2220997
Do you have the paint type or color code? This the exact look I’m going for!

Adding mine from my two 100’s.

03 LC on 1.25” spacers and 200 series wheels. Hub bore is much smaller on these, spacers are required. Will not work if you want to do a part time kit but work fine aside from that.

98 LX on 1.25” spacers and Tundra wheels. Been running this setup for almost 8 years.
