I love the GROM, but occasionally it won't turn on. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the GROM or the head unit... Lemme know if yours ever goes out intermittently. Agreed about the connect button; but it's worth hitting "connect" to get all of that capability. My '21 Ford SuperDuty requires me to plug the phone in; at least the GROM connects wirelessly...

Only thing that bugs me now is that when running car play it does it WiFi which blocks my dash cam. The dash cam still records it just does it on the SD card instead of being able to see the videos on my phone. I wouldn’t mind just plugging my phone in to run car play. I have the cord plugged into the grom on the iPhone port to charge my phone anyway. For some reason it only wants to do car play wirelessly.

Got my quick release brackets for my awning installed. Now just have to get the awning here before Relic. Called them today. Should here Wednesday.

Figured out the car play. Because my dash cam is WiFi I just have to plug my phone in and run CarPlay. If I’m not using the camera it hooks up fine. Just took a little learning curve to get it all working.

I really like the quick connects so you can’t take the awning on and off easily. Has pins that hold it in and it will also fit a small padlock to slow someone down if they try to steal it.

Nope. Ordered them and they showed up at my front door about 5 days later. Besides I probably should have gotten them when I originally got the lift. I researched it and most of the stuff I read said you didn’t have to do them with the two inch but… they couldn’t get the alignment dial in and it’s wearing my front tires more than it should. Tires are so damn expensive the UCA’s will be cheaper than having to replace tires as often.

Technically not a build project but very helpful. Installed a lift in the shop today so I can take the RTT on off off myself. Instead of having to get someone else and man handle it up there.

In case anybody is looking for one. I went with the 200# capacity just to be on the safe side. It has a block and pully system. Actually lifts up with minimal effort.

We got out in the shop last night and got some work done. Iron Man pro forged UCA’s installed. Going to the alignment shop in the morning.

A little shop therapy yesterday. Got my 12 year old working on the truck with me. Changed out the PCV valve and changed up the lights ( 7” LED Aux Beam) GSMTR raffle prize that David won but didn’t have anywhere to mount. Bad / good part is the 12 YO wants an 80. Lol

You talking about the little ones under the rear spoiler? Those are led brake light / turn signals I added when I added the bumper. Spare tire partially blocks the ones on the passenger side.
