havent worked on it lately since the kidney stone surgery i cant drive to the shop to work on it .. but have worked on the girlfriends gay land rover a little bit.. well mostly her not me but ive watched.

shes going pretty good for limited tools. 4 inch grinder , chop saw and a harbor freight pipe kinker

i bought it already adapted.. minus clutch flywheel ect... i may end up running an aw4 tranny and an atlas.. but thats way out of my budget


right now factory bell housing with a 1/2 inch adapter to the r150f

They are definitely cheap and my favorite part...light!
Mine weighed in a around 3000lbs : ).
I couldnt get any other of the rigs we built near that. Unless a did s one seat tube buggy.. but i like to have passengers..

yeah im setting up suspension on a little sami right now and i think it will be pretty sweet when its done . 1.6 16v with header and a little work . toyotas 37s blah blah

should be similar to how mine was but a lot cleaner and not quite so low ( i had a 17.5 belly most the time with 113 wb)

i think for a light weight buggy the buick/rover 4.0 v8 is a good way go to weights the same as the old toyota 4 bangers! but has 192 horse and 200 ft lbs

i think my next project will be a one seater cone dodger build around one of those
motors..(they are dirt cheap)

can pick up a running disco for cheap .. scrap the aluminum body and cover cost of motor plus some parts lol
