Very badass!

Updates...

I ordered the 6-switch panel from @BenCC..

Thanks @BenCC! And thank you to @Eighteen11R for for the tip!

As soon as I receive that I can fix my switch problem and make it look amazing. I plan to try to re-use my switches but since I soldered the wires on initially it might get messy. I also ordered his 12v socket piece that replaces the 3rd row ash tray. That will serve as a basic low-level rear power source until I can tackle the drawer/inverter project at some point in the future.
So I've nearly wrapped up the electrical for now... A few random items to button up as well as connect the winch, driving lights, and fog lights once the bumper is installed.

Otherwise, a few little tasks completed...
Relocated the rear rack lights... Tucked them down and back under the load bar.

Also needed to lower the left side light to make room for the awning... I had an unused winch controller bracket that was perfect... Like it was made for it. The awning will now mount just above the light.

So I think I'm pretty much finally to a point where I can move on to installing bumpers... I'll circle back on the final electrical items as I receive the hardware.

Last post before removing the OEM front bumper this evening... (mixed feelings about that, but...) looking forward to the look and feel of the HD bumpers! (also need to get the spare tire out of the cargo area and add some rear weight!)

Nice Toy Shead...

Two questions:
  1. Where did you purchase your spacers?
  2. So are you rolling without a spare tire?

Also been gathering parts, pieces, tools, and bits of information for my dual battery and auxiliary electrical system... I'm about to tackle all of that which looks daunting but I'm looking forward to the education.

My bumpers and winch are pretty much ready to install but I'm gonna drive her like this for a week or 4..

😎

I had the spare inside the rear of the vehicle until today... Today I installed the rear bumper/tire carrier/ladder/RotoPax rack!!! (will post updates here soon)

Very impressive build, sir! That is a beautiful 40 you have also! 👍

Thank-you!

@Voodoocruisers gets the credit for the 40!

I've had a busy week of evenings on the 100... I have some fresh pics and details to post here. Will do so soon.
It's all starting to come together and I'm liking the result.

😎

It's been a while but I've got some time now to put up a fresh update...

I started off Monday evening on the front bumper. This was something that I originally thought I would do immediately after the suspension was completed but then I went waaaay down the electrical rabbit trail.

I'm pretty sure that the info on the OEM bumper cross member indicates that it's been replaced at some point...

It all went relatively smoothly. I had difficulty with getting the recommended space between the bumper and the body (15mm) and even after shimming the brackets down was only able to get 10-12mm

Thanks again to @clayinho for bird-dogging a pair of ARB driving lights!

I know this is a lousy picture but a look at the wiring behind the grill for the winch and driving lights..

Slee fog light buckets. Great quality as usual.. These are very difficult to get fastened in place. I would recommend doing it before mounting the bumper!

All connected!

A few remaining odds and ends on the winch and lights... Otherwise, moving on to the rear bumper..

Saturday. Rear bumper and associated attachments. All day.

Got it wrapped up late in the evening. Again a couple of little things to tweak but overall good to go. Always impressed with the quality of Slee stuff!

Next up: knock out all the little items. The switch panel from @BenCC should arrive any day and I can get that all wrapped up.

Later..

The extra weight is definitely noticeable! I would say that on-road driving is smoother and more mellow. Acceleration is a bit more sluggish but actually not that bad. Braking is where it's the most noticeable, especially going down steep grades. I haven't taken it off road like this yet

Thanks!
I'd give the rack 4.5 stars..
I'm still working with the light bar to reduce wind noise but that isn't a rack issue.
The rack itself is very nice and Prinsu has been excellent to work with
