All new freeze plugs in the head too.

The ARP studs under the cam need some clearance, we have a good method for that now.

This was a new FTE long block 16,000 miles ago. Pulled the head to install ARPs, still cleaning the head in these pics.

Here is the FT pretty well built, we are having the turbo housing and exhaust manifold ceramic coated before finishing off the build.

New build just showed up at the shop. This is going to be a fun one! I just looked it over pretty quick, seems pretty much all original. Been painted before, not the best job. Rust, rot and bondo doesn’t seem to terrible. Transmission is not happy at all nor is the engine. Carb is in bad...

A friend here in Boise just finished his FTE swap.

It goes better than I expected with 37’s and stock gears. 30+psi doesn’t hurt!

This beauty is just about all done. It’s a long block we got and built out 16,000 miles ago and around 2020.

Just cleaned it, installed ARP head studs, adjusted valves and detailed it out. Ready to rock for 300+k miles!

Toyota slacks on a quality paint job on their long blocks and short blocks from my experience.

So this fresh FTE long block got a quality paint job after ARPs installed.
