Hey all, looking for some help around the fuel system. When converting to diesel, the inlet tube is too small to accept the diesel pumps handle/snout. Would the correct part number be the one shown as 77201 so a diesel pump/snout can be used. Already been burnt on a few things I've ordered so trying to confirm. When searching on Part Souq I selected an HDJ81 for fitment. Thanks, also if there's anything else anyone recommends for the swap from a fueling standpoint. I'm all ears!

not sure if 80s are similar or not but on 60s all you have to do is remove a little spot welded flap/restrictor from the filler tube. No need for a new part.

if you want to replace that the the body has to come off the frame somewhat. For my swap i disconnected the neck from the fuel tank, covered the hose to the fuel tank to keep metal shavings out, unbolted the neck from the body, cut out the flap from the filler neck. then thoroughly blew out any metal from the filler neck. air hose down the pipe and then chased it with a magnet to make sure. working good for me. diesel fill cap threads right on.

Beautiful, now I've got something to do this week.
