No front and rear lockers; center diff lock only. Clean title, clean CARFAX, no accidents. It has good compression and a recent Blackstone oil analysis showed no antifreeze or abnormal wear metals. Purrs like a sewing machine. Head has never been off as far as I know.
As far as I can tell it's never been seriously off-roaded. I've just taking it camping and down some light dirt roads, so it's had a fairly easy life as far as that goes. Mostly it gets used as a highway commuter. Needless to say these are getting harder and harder to find in this original, unmolested condition.
Recent maintenance: -Seiken brake booster and brake flush
-Rear brake pads
-All new OEM coolant hoses and heater valve: no coolant leaks
-OEM thermostat and fresh coolant
-TYC radiator installed recently
-Plugs, wires, dizzy cap and rotor
-<6000 miles on the 33" Cooper ATPs
-Front axle seals and bearings done recently: no leaks from knuckles
-Battery
-Recently replaced alternator; charges well
Real talk:
-Does leak some oil, I think mainly from around the pan. I've been adding about a quart every 500 miles.
-Power steering fluid leaks from the low pressure hose. I have a replacement, just haven't gotten around to installing it.
-Has the P0401 code, common on these old Toyotas and considered trivial in most cases. No emissions testing here so I haven't looked into it too much.
-Drivers side door handle is broken. Just haven't gotten around to replacing it. Still opens fine, just have to lift up the broken part first.
-Cosmetic flaws shown in pics
The truck isn't perfect cosmetically as shown in the photos; it is a 25-year old driver. If you want a pristine show rig this might now be for you. That said it's been in AR and MO it's whole life so undercarriage rust is minimal. There is some surface rust here and there, but everything is solid. Paint is decent for the year; it's single stage black onyx so no clear coat to worry about. Interior is also in about average condition for one of these. It does have tears in the front seats but it's not terrible. We can talk numbers if you're serious but I'm not inclined to let it go for a song as I don't have to sell. I hate to see it go but I need something more practical for commuting. Let me know if you have any more questions.
