Hey Everyone, I am selling one of my 80 series :( 4 vehicles are just too many and I just dont have the time.

Got this from the second owner, never been offroad or beat on it was a family vehicle.
It is basically stock and unmolested, no rust, runs great.
1997 LX450 218K miles
All lockers and they work.
PHH has been done, Oil pump cover, Distributior ring, etc replaced.
Front seats recovered.

You will see in the pics one of the reas seats is removed. I have it I just took it out to fit some stuff from Home Depot.

EGR valve needs replacing. You can see the pain on the plastic parts has some chips.
I can only upload 5 pics... I upload the others someplace and add a link.

Lemme know what questions I can answer.

$5000

I am interested, do you happen to have any more pictures of the interior and some of the underbody? Thanks!

Additional images added to craigslist posting to show undercarriage. Completely rust free. A little mud from taking it hunting.
I work 8-5 M-F, but can generally leave work anytime to show it. I am off this friday 11/20. I will be unavailable Saturday afternoon. I am available Sunday.
Thanks for looking.

Both front seats were recovered. So drivers seat is great! Some pics are on the craigslist post.

What maintenance have you done, and do you have any maintenance records from the previous owner?

Birfs?
Head gasket?
fluids?

I do have some records from previous owner.. some of the bigger stuff. They previously had everything. A book 2 inches thick, I tossed out all the fluid changes, brake pads, tires and stuff like that.
The PHH was done by a shop with previous owner. I'll have to look at that reciept if I can find it, it may have had a HG replacement on it. Either way that is fine, no overheating issues, no coolant loss.
I did the front oil pump seal.
I changed an inner rear axle seal and changed axle/tcase fluid.
New plugs, wires, rotor, cap, dist o ring.
I'll have to look on birfs. See if I see anything. I hear no clacking or other noises though.

Also you may notice in the picture a customized center console as I was intending this to be an Expedition rig. To the center console I added; a CB radio (also had my Ham Radio in there, but since removed it there is room for both), a neatly hidden speaker where the factor sub went for audio from CB or ham radio, cigarette lighter plug, DC-AC inverter (neatly hidden inside the factory CD changer), Streamlight stinger flashlight recharger/ holder. There is a small marine fuse box in neatly tucked in there to protecting everything.
If you would prefer not to have all this awesome work I did... I have another center console from my other rig that is in good condition.
It is worth noting this isn't a slop job, I took my time and it is done very neatly and professional looking.

I have decided the 470 is going to be my expo rig. I am not going to Honduras or anyplace that extreme so the newer model will work for my expo rig.

Anyone know if Uhwarrie is still open this time of year... might take this 450 for a trip there for a long weekend before the holiday. A couple hours up the road for a relaxing camping getaway is always good.

For those still interested link to pics here: Lx450
its a little dirty from when I went hunting. Let me know if there are questions.

I cant speak to if the shocks are original. It was past PM mileage when I got it. I havent changed them though as I was going to make it an expo rig and get a lift and upgraded shocks, but unfortunately I have to sell it instead of going for an expo rig.

Great looking truck! Do you have the 3rd row of seats?

Sorry no I dont have the 3rd row seats

LX is now sold. So sad to see it go but now owned to a great mud forum couple who flew in today and drove it home. I will miss you Brutus!
