Sold to a mudder and on its way to a great home.
Most of you will probably recognize this truck, I just bought it off of here two months ago. Envisioned this as a decent truck to load the family up and go to the beach condo in (3.5 hour drive) ... now I think a closer to stock 100 or 200 would suit my needs much better so I'm selling it (along with my 944). Here's the text from the craigslist ad which includes all of the maintenance/modification the PO took care of and the few things I've done since I got it.
1997 Toyota Land Cruiser Collector's Edition (80 Series, no lockers)
I flew up to Charleston, bought this truck and drove it home in December of 2016. It's a great ride, but I'm looking to move to a 100 or 200 series which I feel will be a bit better "family car" for us. I was actually looking for a 100 when I saw this truck for sale on ih8mud and had to give it a shot. The previous owner performed the majority of the recent maintenance and modifications, listed below along with work I've performed. It's extremely clean, including the underbody. Only rust on the vehicle is the dime size spot on the rear tailgate (a ding/knick in the paint).

Replace air filter, replace fuel filter, transmission and transfer case service, front and rear differential service, coolant service, brake fluid service, replace heater control valve, replace left and right front seat transmissions, replace right rear door lock actuator
Swapped in LX450 door panels, ordered new Lloyds Mats, purchased an LX450 center console (not installed), purchased a new wood trim kit (not installed), purchased OEM center diff lock switch (not installed)
The bad:
Fading paint on PS Rear Fender Flare
Occasional rainwater leak onto pass side floor (pretty sure it's a shrunken sunroof seal)
CEL turns on and off occasionally due to the pesky EGR valve
Dime size ding on rear lower liftgate
Ding in rear of roof and taped up area under rear spoiler - doesn't leak
After sharp turns, slight noise from front axle
Passenger rear window regulator will likely need to be replaced
Normal 80 series oil consumption

1997 Toyota Land Cruiser - 80 Series - Slee, OME, Heavy Maintenance
Mud Price: $14.5k
Would be willing to trade "up" to the right 100 series or early (2008-2010) 200. LX models preferred.
