This 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser [Collector's Edition] is a fine specimen with 222K miles and a nice body. I would have listed it in "Good" condition, but it has developed a knock in the engine, which I don't have the time to deal with a rebuild or swap while at college. I am still driving it in the mean time.
We have cleaned up this vehicle, fixed stuff, and replaced parts so most everything is working well. Except as noted below, everything is in good working order. It has very little body rust (see pictures).
Here are the noteworthy new items:
- New Exhaust
- New Brakes
- Resealed Knuckles
- Blue Fan Clutch Mod
- New shocks
- New gears on D/S power seat (P/S is operational also)
- BlueTooth/CarPlay (still have stock head unit)
- Sound insulated cargo area (no third row)
- Added Center Diff Locker switch
- Custom cupholder
- Ram mounts
- Extra set of A/T tires with steelies included.
What isn't working:
- No radio antenna
- No Air Conditioning
- Engine has a knock
If you are looking at a V8 swap, I could negotiate a set of LS engine mounts into this deal.
