Still slow going. Life is super busy right now. But, the rear is done. Had to clearance the diff housing just a touch with a grinder.

Finally got the front diff put together. Hoping to get things all back together today. We have forest fire threatening evacuation, and I'd like to be able to take Kronk loaded with stuff. Fire season came way too early this year....

Stay safe with the fires

Got the tone rings swapped to the new axles. Driver's side axle slid in no problem. Passenger side just won't seat. Been effing with it for 30 minutes. Bleh.

Well, for the first 100 miles or so, everything seemed great. Lately, I am hearing slight whine only on deceleration. Sounds like it is coming from the rear, but who knows. Grumble.

New rear liftgate shocks. No more holding the gate up with my head!

Hoping to get some monstaliner ordered soon. There are a couple of dents I'd like to work on before doing that, though. One is on the driver's door. I hit a deer earlier this year and it spun around and I think the hoof made this mark. I have a buddy that does some body work occasionally who said he'd help smooth it.

How are you planning on controlling the electric locker? Are you going to tie into the factory twist knob? I think Wits End was working on something for these.
I never had a factory locker, so no knob. I used the rocker switches supplied by Eaton. You can see them in post #158

Finally warm enough to start the monstaliner process. Stripped the roof rack and bumpers and gave Kronk a good wash. My daughter saw it stripped down and said "Ewww! Kronk looks naked!" 😆

Why monstaliner? Is your body pretty banged up already or about to be?
Not banged up too bad. Clear is peeling a bunch. I could repaint it, but I'd just scratch the bejeebus out of it on the first trip. I know there are some who won't approve of the monstaliner choice. But, I like the way it looks, and it is durable.
