4/17/17 -- SOLD, THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST.

Hey Everyone,

Up for sale this time around is a really clean mildly built 1996 with low miles. The truck was stripped down, all holes are professionally welded, and then painted with a 2 stage genuine Toyota Quicksand color. (2016+ Tundras, 4Runners, Tacomas...). Truck was originally black. There is no rust, no leaks and the truck runs fantastic. Out of the 10-20 80 series I've driven, this one might be the most peppy.

Mods include:
(No Lockers)
Front and Rear Trailgear bumpers
315/75r16 Dick Cepek Extreme Country Tires - 500 miles
Level 8 Pro 16x8 wheels (Two valve stems on them for quicker inflate/deflate)
2.5 OME Lift
New upholstered front seats
Snorkel
New stereo and front speakers
New Toyota Power Steering Pump (installed this week)
New Oil pump gasket (installed this week)

I'm selling this for my close friend who doesn't want to deal with selling. Signed pink slip in hand, you can view my thread history and see I've sold few rigs here through the years.

A few things I will do:
- Install caster correction plates
- Get smog for buyer if in CA

I'll get some better photos and hopefully a video posted up by tomorrow as well.

$12,900 OBO

Sorry P, I'll give you a call tomorrow morning. I just saw your IM.

That color looks GREAT! Really nice choice on all your mods. Good looking truck.

Repairing the door lock this weekend. Showing that the paint guy was meticulous and pulled off all internal panels to ensure all the door jams and visual surfaces were covered.

Beautiful rig. Would love to see it in my driveway, but now's not the right time.

Hatchethead- I'm interested. Moved from San Diego to Austin. Can I have a buddy of mine come over and check her out for me? How can he contact you? Thanks man

noticed the same paint detail on the door jams. high quality paint job you got on that.

Hi PhrogDriver, I've been in contact with someone today who might take it, but I'll let you know if it falls through.

Thanks! Yes, he did a good job. Had the rig for over 2 weeks working on it!

Thanks all. Cruiser is pending sale.

Might we be seeing this one on ebay in a month or two? :)

Who did the paint?

"Retired" guy who is in Lemon Grove, San Diego. He has done body work for a few classic car and restoration shops for 40+ years. I got his number if anyone is interested. He takes his time and does a very good job at a reasonable price.

About $6k for welding up the holes, sanding/prep, paint and application. Not too bad really. He's done a few projects for my friend and they are all real nice.
