No testing was performed but it is fabricated with dual plates of steel. The landing gear on my airplane is 16' tall and weighs in excess of 1 ton but with enough effort I can destroy it. (The point ... With enough effort any component can be destroyed and you have to balance PERFORMANCE with COST at some point). :)

Rob enjoys fabricating and is simply offering another option that will appeal to some and not to others. Based on the amount of interest thus far, I would say the "appeal" factor is running fairly high. To set the record straight, I'm a Maxwell House kind of guy more so than Starbucks.
The only testing that would be available in Southern Georgia would most likely involve a chain and two John Deere tractors. : )
As with most products available for the 70 Series, the buyer has the ability to compare products from various vendors and decide which product best meets their needs.

I noticed this gentleman chose to not use his recovery points in his egress. :)

First set has been ordered and should ship tomorrow. :)

Prototype #1 is destined for the research and development bin.
Prototype #2 will be offered in two versions, one modified slightly to accommodate the factory winch and one un-modified.

The kits come with a 10.9 replacement bolt (bolts are on order and should arrive early next week) that will be somewhat longer than the original. Now that I have had the opportunity to see and hold the unit I would venture to say it is among the heaviest, most stout on the market.

Of course it is one of the best out there. You and Rob are a good team. And don't downplay it because without your input Rob would be an unknown commodity. The cruiser community appreciates your effort and input!
Rob's the brains and talent but with my boyish good looks, I'm the public face of the venture. :)

... since I'm the eye candy, I'm the public face of the venture.

(fixed it for you)
..... and you didn't even resort to using those big legal words like "therefore, whereas, paragraph 3 - subsection 9" etc.
:)

Several potential customers have made suggestions to Rob about potential improvements to his recovery point for the ARB brush bar so he will now be spending another late night at the shop fabricating prototype #3. :)

There was some concern that prototype #2 could have an issue when subjected to a significant side load.
Those concerns are now remedied. :)

Unless your pulling an Abrams Tank you shouldn't have an issue.
