That's what I was hoping to hear. By chance do you have pictures, or a quick how-to. I have fender mirrors and don't want to have to cut the mirror boss to accommodate a snorkel.

Picture ...... Later today.
How to ...... The abbreviated version... The forward portion of the snorkel had to be heated and re-shaped so it would not interfere with the mirror. This process was SLOW and TEDIOUS. Too much heat and you'll permanently deform the snorkel, too little, nothing happens.

Wow that looks fantastic! Any issues with the plastic becoming overly hard (brittle)? I assume you didn't use a bic lighter?
You mentioned a saw, I had originally considered cutting and plastic welding the corner of the snorkel into a notch. Any reason why you didn't do this?

The reshaping was done over the course of two days using the lowest heat setting possible. The end result is not brittle.
Rob wanted the modification to look like it "belonged there" and decided against sharp angles which would have been the result of using a saw.
#1065 = Nice work. If you have to have a snorkel, you might as well do a good job of it…..
I'm not a fan of snorkels but as it turns out PO's of my trucks liked them - they are installed well and all but ….I'm slowly (years) working towards a de-snorkification on my 70 series and perhaps someday on my 60 too.
Yes it's misleading unless you give me credit for having a turbo sitting on the shelf. The grill badge was available from @cruiserdan and at his advanced age I thought it prudent to go ahead and get it. The pyrometer and boost gauge is installed and somewhat functional. (One less thing to do when the turbo project starts)
