Hi there! I decided to sell my trusty workhorse: a very unique troopy : it's a 1988 bj 75 with an 80 series 1hdft 4.2 turbo diesel 24v engine and an h151f 5 manual speed transmission conversion fitted, that means now it works in permanent 4wd mode, but, since it has still the manual hub lockers, you can use it also on rear 2wd mode.
Main features are the front + rear 9.5" hd axle, central diff lock, rear disc brakes conversion with HZJ74 toyota genuine parts, OME hd leaf kit with grasable shakles, Scola adjustable shocks ( 20 clicks),handmade inox exhaust, 80 series front seats, bj 71 2nd row seats ( got also the original side benches) and 3rd row side benches. Aurora led headlights and bars. 2din android radio with jbl speakers and a subseat woofer, aluminium Upracks roof rack.
She got the full love service this summer: new bigger alu radiator with new silicone pipes, new hd Exedy clutch kit with both new cylinders (master+pedal), full Terrain Tamer front axle rebuild, new water pump, new alternator, new brake lines and new pump, new fiamm bateries, plus obviously all the fluid/filters/brake pads.
On the clock it has 308000 kms while the "new"engine has got 312000kms on its big shoulders.
On the car document it has registred: 4 tyres sizes ( 255/85/16 - 265/75/16 (fitted) - 205/90/16 - 235/85/16 ) + front and rear auxilary lights (fitted), front and rear heavy duty bumpers (fitted), front winch (fitted), 2nd fuel tank (actually not installed ) + and rear tow hook + the rear ladder (fitted).
The engine swap it's not mentioned in the car papers (originnaly it was the deathlike 3B) and it has been made in early 2022 circa 22000kms ago.
The truck is located in Finale Ligure - Italy
It's no a full restomod car for sure, chassis is okay ( no salt here) while the body has been refreshed in 2020, it's a workhorse, so minor scrtches are part of the game
Price requested is 27.500€

I can vouch for this fella. @joekatana - how easy is importing from EU to USA these days?
If he gets it to a port in belgium it’s pretty easy , roro is around 2700$ per vehicle these days but there is always a risk that things disappear. 20 ft container to Houston is around 9k or so , prices are still high but will hopefully slowly come down again in the future. Don’t forget that it is supposed to have it’s original engine in it , there is always a chance , no matter how small that someone notices the engine swap and a can of worms will be opened.

I saw this on European classifieds a while back (earlier this year)... Of course it's interesting, but there's definitely rust under the drivers' door (can see it clearly in a distance shot) & the paint itself is a respray, and if there's rust there, there's definitely rust elsewhere including in the chassis. Just can't be any other way, sorry. I'd say 27K EUR is too rich for this vehicle, but I'm of the belief you should start with a rust-free clean example and then you can do the engine swap or any mods. Some would prefer to get the full package and work on the "visual".
