Is the "Emotional Bond" between you and your Cruiser real ???
Since I listed her for sale, I"m having a hard time falling asleep and I wake up around 4ish saying to myself: " Why am I selling my Rig"?
I've spent 12 years+ building it. Like 3 years sourcing out the California. body and 2 years for the motor and drivetrain.
1 year for the swap. ++++++ all the other things and all the $$$$$$$$$$ spent.
We been through so much together, days to the beach, camping and salmon fishing. Trips to Canada.Etc.
She kept my mind off the drama when I got divorced.
I was there for her transplant and she for me when I had an Aortic valve replacement.
Yesterday when I walked around her for a video I got a unpleasant feeling in the plexus, it was kinda like when you part with an animal that you loved a lot.
I'm seriously having second thoughts about selling her. The money would only go in the Bank. It's not like I need it.
Maybe the fact that I'm French Canadian makes me so sensitive about the parting ways with her!

Man…way too many parallels here (except for the valve replacement). I’d love to talk with you to learn more about everything you’re sharing with us. Keep in mind I’m extremely biased to these drivetrains on a 60 and I can say without a doubt my personal build will never leave the Johnson home. My oldest will get it via my will. Feel free to call me anytime.

Cool replies thanks guys!
I just ordered a new oil filter and I'm checking out prices for a new windshield right now.
Where should I buy the weatherstrip from? A Chinese one or a Mexican one?
Will there be tariffs?:rolleyes::cool:

I have that rubber insert and I've used it in the past for a side rear widow. Wow! what a job that was.
Maybe the windshield specialist could do it.
