A little off subject, Charles as your from Georgia area, are you familiar with a musician Tony Joe White?. I've been listening to him for few years now, I think he has his routes in your backyard, area, It is great tunes for cruisin in the cruiser

  1. Tony Joe White is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, best known for his 1969 hit "Polk Salad Annie" and for "Rainy Night in Georgia", which he wrote but was first made popular by Brook Benton in 1970. Wikipedia
  2. Born: July 23, 1943 (age 71), Oak Grove, LA

I'm vaguely familiar with him and as you can see he was born in Louisiana. Elvis Presley also sang his songs.

May suggest to all mudders, get familiar with tony joe white, one of the best of the best. Easy listening, on porch, around camp fire, or just cruisin.

I finally have one tree with Fall foliage.... The tourist (leaf peepers) are lined up down the street.

Be careful not to burn it down ;)

Peepers would not be amused

nice pic old man, sure is a purdy truck.
It was bitter cold down here last night ( 5 degrees C / 41 degrees F ) so the leaves won't last long. It's time to winterize the Cruisers. :)

The LED lights in the bumper ( an experiment with marginal success ) now has some bulbs out and it's time to try something different. Considering the limited space to work with, does anyone have any suggestions for a LED replacement?

An old fashioned carbide lamp? You could always literally "burn headlamps" :rimshot:

Unless someone comes up with a gee-wiz idea, I'll probably just do away with the LED lights and simply fill the holes with amber turn signal lights. The LED lights were never bright enough to serve as fog lights which was my original idea.

You could put the original housing in, and then put a LED bulb in it. Still won't work as a fog light but people will know when your turning.

Perhaps I should forget LED and just go "old school".

After having issues with the radio, (it just quit from time to time) we decided to try something different. :)

SNAKE BIT ....... :bang:
The first brake booster on my HJ75 lasted ~ 30 years, the second one ~ 4 months. Installing the 3rd one today.
Even on something as slow as a 2H powered Cruiser, brakes are necessary.

I am getting ready to do the same. Where is this mounted?

With that huge bumper, just point it at a tree ;)

The converter, because it needs to cool, is located between the giant console and the passenger seat. The original idea was to put it under the passenger seat but the framework on the "bouncy" seat prevented that.
