As of today I am officially out of Cruisers.
The HJ75 was already down with the engine rebuild and now the BJ74 is parked with a leaking radiator. For the next few days I am relegated to driving my wife's 4Runner. ( embarrassing but at least it's still a Toyota ). :)

Blame the brutal cold in Southern GA?

Hitting high 30s here in sarasota tonight. It's brutal!

Supposed to go down to 12 degrees in Macon.

:meh:

I grew up in upstate NY and my mother made me either walk to school or wait outside during the winter for the bus.

:)

I guess that's why I grow beards in the winter now.

Have fun driving a lefty!

I just hope I don't run over someone on the way to work this morning. It is nice however to be able to hear the radio without having to turn the volume way up. :D

Sorry to hear that. Any idea on the cause or just sprung a leak?

I suspect it is simply a byproduct of being 27 years old. The leak is in the upper portion of the radiator and the Cruiser is actually drivable if you back off on the radiator cap and un-pressurize the radiator. You unfortunately don't have a functioning heater with an un-pressurized radiator which is somewhat important considering it was 20 degrees (F) this morning.

The Canadians are going to call us a "wuss" for even having this conversation. :)
When I go to work tomorrow I will be working in temps. in the -60 degrees (C) / -76 degrees (F) range so hopefully that will impress the Canadians. : )

Wayne you need to put a yellow tennis ball on the end of your radio antenna so the rescuers can find you. :D
You must of really wanted to visit your uncle.

actually, that was just an excuse to get out and play ...
i live for this s***.

I see a mental evaluation in your future.
We get a 1/2" of snow down here and there is mass panic and the National Guard if put on full alert. :D

Great photos Wayne. I remember when I was a little one off-roading in the snow with my dad was the best. He used to have the top off and heater cranked while I'd be in my snow suit with the dog in the back. The years of hot Florida weather has made me beyond pathetic when it comes to cold. Lots of good memories. On the flip side when the relatives come here during the summer they are barely able to function.

i had been thinking the same thing ... humidity and me don't get along.
so it seems i might have screwed up a bit last night when parking the wife's car
i didn't check to see the windows were completely up ... this is what i found just now. crap.
window down 1/2", high winds, roof level drifts and when you open the door:

i wish the wife was that understanding ...

I can't wait to show this to my wife. Compared to you I am starting to look a little bit better. Thanks for setting the bar so low. :D
She will never again complain when I leave a coffee cup in her 4Runner.

When I first saw the photo I assumed the airbags had deployed. : )
