Thank you VERY Much.. that is what I was anticipating. Very hard to actually see that difference in the pictures of trucks.. Now i have a goal for the weekend!

I used some of my most expensive string and tape to set up that photo. :D

Thanks for the good wishes Wayne.

Happy New Year to you too.

Sometimes it is nice to own a truck. The LX450 brush bar would unfortunately not fit in the back of the Lexus. :)
I hope I can keep Bambi and associates out of my grill.

Technically it would be more accurately described as a "grill guard" ( not to be confused with ARB style brush bar ).
If Bambi is determined he can still get through ......

Hi there! Nice troppie! Great condition for a 1978! Enjoy it!

Thanks........
My Cruiser is a sleek and sexy Ute......not a bulbous Troopy. :)
It is also a 1985 model.

Here you go Clint......
Home made bracket that supports the gun rack above the door.

The company also makes a rack that attaches flush to the roof but it requires drilling into the roof which I didn't want to do.

Thanks for that mate,
Looks good the same set up should work a treat in the 79 series.

Let me know if you need help procuring one.

My fancy floor mat showed up today. :)
Now if I can muster up enough brain cells to figure out how to install it. :D

Is there anyone on this Forum that knows of people that have converted their diesel vehicles to also run on CNG?
Thanks.....

There are a few haulage fleets and maybe courier fleets that have a couple of trucks running on cng and some on LPG. Pretty big cost savings for them. Also the perth bus fleet has quite a few cng powered busses. Isuzu has a few truck models with cng motors in them. The 6HF1 is a dedicated cng motor that's based on the 6HK1. I'm pretty sure there's a 4 cyl as well on cng.

It's pretty expensive to get a smaller diesel converted, the tanks used in cng systems have to be a lot more heavily built due to the higher pressures its stored under. There's also the fact that you can't really get cng at petrol stations like you can LPG.
There are plenty of LPG kits for diesels though, and there's still a government rebate for petrol vehicles and diesels if you get one too.

Edit: just saw you said running on cng as well as diesel. No haven't seen that, LPG and diesel yes. I'm not sure if you could run cng like that.
