first, we don't have LHD cruisers that pretty here.
next, i have brought in enough JDM cruisers to pick out the little things, nothing i can put my finger on.
then, to confirm, i checked the thread in the 80 series and he stated "from Japan"

Charles... We really need one with the truck all decked out for Xmas...

Oh, I'll be in ATL this weekend... Wanna roll up and show me that baby?

;)

I would really enjoy that except for the fact Atlanta is a 4:00 hour drive from where I am located ( well actually 4:45 in a HJ75 :) ). Now if you find yourself anywhere in Southern Georgia ( the real South ) give me a shout and I will definitely show up. ( assuming I am not 4,000 miles away at work :D )
I will be diving the truck later today ..... My wife says I have to haul the trash off.

Charles.. Merry Christmas and Happy New year.. Was wondering if this picture might be able to guide you to a measurement i would love to have off your truck.
Trying to figure out if the rear axle is centered in the rear wheel well or if it's moved slightly forward of center to account for rear axle movement when the springs are compressed. Any and all help would be appreciated! Thank you VERY much!

I just got home and it is dark however I will have your measurements first thing in the morning. :)

Just eye-balling it the axle is definitely forward of center but I will have something more precise in the morning.

This pic looks like one of Proffitt's trucks..

:)

If so, do realize that the frame and body re from different vehicles.

;)

Easily the 2nd best looking truck on this thread. :D

Best side shot i could come up with.

It looks original. I thought Proffit's truck use 6 studs hubs from 60/80 series axle.

On that build we used 7x series 5 lug stuff IIRC.

Rear bumper side wings look like one of ours.

Like I said I think that is one of ours. Can't tell from background though.

Its urs. Well known in this forum. Just wanting a measurement. Didnt mean to start a ruckus.

There is a 1" difference.....
The axle center is approximately 15 1/4" from the rear of the wheel opening and 14 1/4" from the front.
Hope that helps....
