Some of next months fuel requirements. The two in the middle will make the Cruiser smell like chicken, the two on the outside will produce that delicious fish smell. :D Beats the heck out of $4.10 per gallon diesel.

You making bio diesel? Or just running a wvo mix?
Make sure you dewater it and get a proper system in place

Processed bio diesel ..... been doing it for about 10 years. The fuel in the photos will not be burned for several months.

....And no the Mini in the background is not mine. It belongs to my wife. I do have some pride left.:D

too bad, i was about to say "nice choice in cars" ... please pass this on to your wife then.

I will pass the compliment on to my wife. It is not my favorite means of transportation however I must admit that it is wicked fast (200+ HP) and handles like a dream if you don't mind using a "shoe horn" to get in and out of it.:)
I actually prefer the ones from the 60's and 70's.

Charles....you need to get the new Scion FR-S. AKA: Toyota GT-86.

At least you will be driving a Jap rig, it will be fast, agile, 5spd manual, and powered by Subaru.

:)

Even though I am a big fan of Subaru's, having owned two, I have not bought a new vehicle since the mid 90's. My wife and children get that honor.:) I find anything that goes over 60mph kinda scary anyway.:D

60mph, lucky you have auto pilot then

Well you got me there.:D 8 to 9 nautical miles every 60 seconds is slightly more than 60 mph. Two autopilots to be exact.:):)

Here you go Clint....:)
Bottom left..... .819Mach.....in excess of 8/10ths the speed of sign
Middle right...... 39,000'
Top right.........AP1 .... autopilot #1 is engaged.
....and it is doing this on a mere 1,850 gallons of jet fuel per hour.

At least he's honest about his need for speed.

:)

1850 gal per hours ...
so how many miles can you cover in an hour in that bird?

That answer varies greatly depending on the winds aloft. The groundspeed can vary from 450 knots to 600 knots depending on the headwind / tailwind component. It is fairly common to see winds in excess of 100 kts., especially during the winter, blowing from west to east. Fortunately my "aerodynamic" HJ75 is not affected by these same winds.:D
Wayne, You will notice in the photo that we were at 48N / 50W ( right off the coast of your beloved Canada )

so...
in laymans terms how many miles will that be (450 knots to 600 knots)?

Approximately 550 to 575 statute miles in an hour ( average for round trip). Seven to eight hours to reach most Western European destinations ( London, Paris, Frankfurt etc.) from the east coast of the U.S. On average you will consume 100,000 lbs to 130,000 lbs of fuel to fly those legs.:)

so...
575 miles to 1850 gal ...
3.1 gal per mile

makes my 3B seem downright thrifty ...

This is slightly larger than a 3B ( I can stand up in the intake ) and even an Troopie
does not carry 300 people or have a gross weight in excess of 255 tons:D

hummm, a troopie can carry 13 people
100 troopie (3.1 gal / mile to 31 miles to the gal) can carry 1300 people
so it would be more efficent to deliver 100 troopies and move people and goods overland that way

although once you head over water ... well ... it would take a lot of plastic barrels to keep them afloat
and
it would take a wheeeeeeeeeeee bit longer to get there.
