Price dropped. $18,500. I am also open to trades.
I updated post to show some of the newer replacement items.

The body has been patched but is still solid. Darker brown areas show the areas that have been patched. Normal rockers, quarters areas, Pass front floor. etc.

Anyone want to make a low ball offer? I can swap out the H55 and put the factory 4spd back in to help reduce cost as well, but no sure why someone would not want it with the 5 spd.

Hi! I’m looking for my first FJ40...I’m planning to do a LS conversion and either 5 speed or Auto. Any interest in selling without motor and trans?

Maybe? I can even supply a 2003 Suburban with a 5.3 4l60 drivetrain in it. It runs and drives.

Finally had a chance to put in air and get pics. Yes it is dirty. I wheeled it on a set of 33's for two days at AOP and Rausch Creek with no issues!

Only rust issues on frame are in boxing on frame near rear spring hangers. Easy repair.

Undercoating pealing in pics, not rust.

5 digit odometer? Is this a matching number us spec vehicle?
I have no reason to question it. I have the service records from the past 20 years or so on it.

I took this 40 out for a drive on Saturday and was quite impressed with the way it runs. Started great with the choke, ran well, and was fun and stable driving on the highways and roads in and around Richmond. Transmission worked great no noises from any of the running gear. Brakes worked as they should and so did the steering. Sure did like the way getting into fifth gear dropped the highway RPM's! A little out of range for me financially at this point in time but I'll say it is indeed a very good running 40.

I drove this a few days this week. Started great at below 30 deg and ran strong. Price lowered.

Hey Bevis,

he said Tranny swap

heh Heh heh

I edited first post with updates on price and other options.
