For Sale 1981 FJ60 Rust free body

1981 FJ60 with a rust free body and frame. Truck currently does not run, the #2 piston is burnt up. Stock 4 speed and transfer case are still under the truck. Truck has 240K miles on it. All engine parts including head, intake, and exhaust go with the truck.

Body is in really good shape. Only rust is some minor surface rust, there is no bubbling of paint or holes anywhere. Frame is also in the same condition. Has rear sliding windows.

Interior is in intact. Will need a good cleaning. There is a slide in Rhino bedliner to protect the back.

Tires are 30x9.5x15 BFG AT with around 70%-80% of tread life.

This is a great start for a diesel/engine swap, or put a 2f back in it and have a solid 60 series. Asking $2000 OBO. Truck is located in the north Seattle area.

Whoa.. that has the uber rare tailgate-goat-hitching-post bars on the tailgate-like the BJ60's sometimes had(?).. Is that bedliner custom or made for 60's? pretty cool.

It is. I think 1981 was the only year with the bar.

Sorry for the delay in responding but I have been at an overland rally for the last few days.

That air cleaner is from a japanese 3F. We were mocking it up for a customer to see how we could make it work.

That rear tailgate protector bars are only in the 81's and 82's.

The rear liner is made for the 60's. I dont know if it was custom made or if they were produced for the 60's by Rhino. It is pretty nice though.

Bump back up to the top. We were going to turn this into a magazine build but we are going to do something else.

For the right deal we could install a running engine. This would be a great candidate for a 5.3 or 6 liter or even better a 1hd-t.
