that floor mat would wear that much from a heel in 48k? Nope.

Looks legit and super nice. Mileage means nothing, it's a cruiser, right? And they aren't claiming 48k original miles, just what the odo is at. Great year and not hacked up or cobbled together. Probably will sell for asking easy.

Is a price posted somewhere......I've looked but can't find one.

EDIT: Ok found it..

Looks like it sold
Yup... she's mine now! So interesting... I was researching where to put an on-board compressor and what that bracket on the PS firewall was for. From some other pics off BringATrailer.com, it looks like it is for a seatbelt detector?? So I was searching for that and up popped this thread on my truck (her name is Ruby). On earlier models, it looks like it held a service reminder thingy that the speedo cable went through.

Can anyone confirm what this bracket is/was for?

Ah... is this for an external voltage regulator perhaps? My alternator has the VR on-board, so perhaps the bracket was simply a standard part of the firewall that went unused for the "frigid temps/high altitude" version of the truck with the 55 amp Alt and ammeter?

Correct... here is a pic from one of the 40s on BaT with some kind of relay in place:

It's for a voltage regulator. Sometime in 1979 they switched from an external voltage regulator mounted on that bracket on the firewall to one that was on the alternator. My February built 1979 40 has the regulator on the firewall.
