What color is that?

Pig lipstick?

How is that 'new'?

Because it doesn't leak?

A $2k paint job on an aluminum body, nestled on a 40 year old chassis that, I've no doubt, received similar 'treatment', and tons on new parts does not constitute 'new'.

Considering you're a professional, I've no doubt you're aware that vintage drivetrain numbers have never matched VINs, so what's your point in the embedded disclaimer?

You say "New aluminum body" is the body 100% aluminum or is it just the tub? That is not a 1978 tub.

From your couple of pics it looks like a "FrankenCruiser" to me.

interesting rear lights

From the firewall back and transmission hump is aluminum

By saying new its one of new projects

are there completed pictures? pics above show lots of little bits missing. need more pics.
H41 trans?
what do you mean by numbers matching?

@toyotakillsjeep - just become a vendor and you can stop people from posting in your for sale threads ;)

I think it looks like a nice truck.. perhaps a fair price too. You will need a lot more pics and info around these parts though.

You gotta admit it's a bunch of BS how quick @antFJ got hassled when all this "talk" in this thread is left with no threats or deletion.

Looking at both deals I actually view this one as the better of the two...

Thank you guys we are currently finishing the wiring and installing the new upholstery

I really am curious about those round rear lights?? Are these common to any specific cruiser year or location where made?

No. Those are not OEM on any Toyota. I think those are real-estate sign reflectors with a big grommet around them.

Trailer lights.

Ahh. Well I guess that's better then nothing? Now the big question is what to put in those big gaping holes in the rear frame? Framed pictures?

Rear facing headlight?

grenade launcher for smoke screen in case your getting followed!
