**************SOLD*****************

After owning this for more than a decade, it's time to pass my 40 on to someone else to enjoy :frown: This truck is in excellent shape mechanically, I would not hesitate to jump in it and drive anywhere today. I would call it a clean wheeler cosmetically, you wouldn't be embarrassed to drive it to work but it's not a show truck either. Asking $8000 obo. as it sits.

Good

  • Mini truck PS with stock 3FE pump & OME stabilizer

Bad
  • Tub needs love, DS floor pan replaced and everything is solid. Had planned on swapping Aqualu 3/4 tub and painting so never addressed.
  • Frame was cleaned and painted to firewall as well as rear supports (replaced) and crossmember. Had planned on doing rest during tub swap, frame is solid (only surface rust).
Extras
  • MetalTech front profile cage (uninstalled)
  • Complete '77 wiring harness
  • Various extras/spares accumulated over the past 10 years.
Possibilities

I have collected everything you would need to make this a $25k truck, I will offer the following to the buyer at $2500 over final negotiated price. Otherwise I will be selling outright ;) **This price is only for buyer, I will list these outright if they pass (this price is at a loss to me, but I'd like to see someone finish the truck like I wanted to).

This is a great truck that drives great, you can drive highway speeds and I've been averaging 18MPG with the 3FE. This truck is driven weekly and I'm only selling to move in to a FJ55 for the family, so no low ball offers please. I've got plenty of pictures of everything, please let me know what you would like to see -

Good luck with the sale Tucker. To the lucky new owner, this is a beast of a truck with hundreds of hours of TLC under its skin.

I hate to see it go...lots of great memories there. :frown:

And to bump a great rig again, here she is with the soft top. Wish I had some fun money.

GLWS Tucker. I'm interested in the PS fender if you don't have a taker on the whole shebang.

Another bump for a very capable truck. Even though the pics above show it being wheeled, Tucker only gets out 1, maybe 2 times a year (Roundup and maybe a run at Hidden Falls), so it hasn't seen the abuse of a crawler. GLWYS and can't wait until you join the 55 club again!

Package Deal

Would you take $10K green American dollars for the whole shebang? :hillbilly:

Just exploring possibilities. :hhmm:

Just to answer some questions - I don't have the hardtop and doors, just the full soft top and two piece doors. The conversion has been complete for almost two years and needs nothing ;)

Tucker

Tucker C wants a test drive, you available tomorrow?. Amazing, she's thinking two 40 's in the garage with DD's in the driveway.

Attagirl! :clap::cheers:

Psst...buy the tub while you're at it.

Tucker,
I've been casually looking to replace my 40 I sold 6 years ago when my twins were born for the past few years and it may be time to take the plunge..... I would be interested in both the cruiser and the tub.

Question - what generation in the aqualu tub?

Thanks,
Mark
