I know this has been beaten to death but I wanted clarification before I dump money into a lift and it was hard to find someone with this combo.
I am running my weekend driver on stock suspension and it is more than shot. I want to lift it slightly so i can just off road it lightly on service roads here and there.

I have read amazing reviews on Pro-Comp Springs...and bilstein shocks.
To confirm, I can order these two and be set?

Springs- Pro-Comp K5064
Amazon product ASIN B001FBKYGI
Shocks- Bilsteins 33-185606 (all 4)
Amazon product ASIN B009VTJXYK
Anything else you guys think I would need? I am lightly off-roading this and want a smooth ride.
I know i dont need the shocks from the Pro-Comp kit, but this is just as cheap as buying just the springs/u-bolts separately.

Thank you for the help!

I’m running that set up and I’m very happy with it.🤗

Fj moneypit .... what specific bilsteins did you get front and rear? I don't see where you can choose length on that listing... do the model numbers determine this? Also, where did you get the extended shackles?

These pro comp springs won't shorten the wheelbase like ome will they?

I have that setup. I added a extended shackle in the back to even out lift. I got bilsteins for a good price off eBay. Shock Absorber-B8 5125 Front,Rear Bilstein 33-185606 for sale online | eBay

I used 0-2 inch bilsteins up front and 4” in back. I do have an extra inch in back.
How do I know which bilsteins to get for length. The link to this ebay listing is for one shock, and I would need 2 different models (front and rear) also, where would you recommend getting the extended rear shackle?

The 0-2 are probably okay with that lift in the front but I had to use longer in the back for mine due to extended shackle. The 4” bilsteins seem to long for anything below the 4”. Search mud for more info on how to measure for length. It’ll depend on bump stops, compression and extension length of shock as well. I got shackles from sor.

I am also here in AZ. Going to keep stock ride height on the ‘76 and upgrade shocks to the Bilsteins.

I've been considering this lift myself and will probably end up purchasing it soon. Before you buy it on amazon (now listed at $742), check this out..

As far as I can tell its the same kit for $631.54 ("if ordered in the next 18 hours") AND a $100 mail in rebate plus free shipping so your total purchase price would be around $531 plus tax. I have no idea how credible this site is but it seems like a much better deal if it is legitimate.

@Fj moneypit @Tancruiser - did this kit come with all the bushing's for the springs and shocks? is there anything else I would need to purchase with the kit to install?

Should have everything you need.

Prescot, for some reason I can't tag you. I didn't feel comfortable buying from liftkits4less, even after talking to customer service rep Mark. The $100 rebate also is no longer valid per pro comp.

I ended up calling 4wheelparts.com. They price matched the $631.54 and the kit cost me $682.85 including tax and shipping (free) to NY. They said it would be here within 5-7 business days and were extremely pleasant to deal with. Just figured I would pass along the info.

@Fj moneypit Thanks!

Best of luck!
Travis

I have that same set up only in 4 inch and stock shackles. If I could go back, I would get the 2.5 and the longer shackles. I think that's the best option, next to OME which I have heard is the best option but more expensive.

I have the Pro Comp 2.5" springs- Man a Fre Anti Inversion Shackles ( 3 1/4" center pin to pin) stock shackles are 2 3/4" I believe and Bilstein Shocks. First photo is about a year after instillation with hard top- you can see the shackle angle has changed. 2nd photo is day of install with soft top. I also have a full size spare on the back now. 33x10.5 Dick Cepek on 15x6 rims.
