Pics of the Chet..
Finished excavating the front of the hood yesterday then drilled a bunch of random holes in it. It's not perfect but it matches the rest of the truck pretty good lol.
The gold looks pretty killer so I'm gonna unChet it and paint the rest of the letters as well.

Got the new steering shaft in last night. Only pain was the nipple on the steering box input shaft, I had to cut it off to get enough slack to get the shaft in.
Feels a lot better with the new tie rods and no rubber rag joint, I'm all set for autocross season now.

Still have to do a couple touch-ups but I don't mind how it turned out.. From 10 feet away it just looks like specks of green paint in the rust but up close you see the paisley pattern.

Stereo stuff and filler neck came in from @lsfabrication. Gonna have to modify the 6x9 mounts since my floor is a little different.

More parts came in yesterday, all the window runs and seals, tailgate chains, and a bunch of random hardware.
Gonna chop down the 6x9 panels to fit first I guess?

Got the 6x9 panels cut down and the bolt on brackets that came with them bent and welded on.

The new wondow runs and felts went in last night. Managed to get both doors done despite having to cut a door panel bolt and tack a spinning pos nutsert.
Drivers side door is slightly materially challenged where the outside felt clips on so we'll see how long it hangs in there..
