Got the box taken back apart so I can paint the crossmembers and patch some rust on the bedsides.

Only had to cut 2 out of 14 bolts to separate the box sides from the rear cross member and head... gate.. board? This is gonna make things more manageable.

Yaya, not yet. Just busted them out to measure where I had to notch the bed cross members.

X members were notched , the ends where the bedsides bolt on got sleeved and the rearmost cross member got wire wheeled after filling a couple holes.

Managed to get all of the bed cross members primed and painted, the rear one got painted green then patina'd. Primed and painted the rear frame cross member as well.

The ds bed mount that the front bed x member bolts to had the hole drilled super close to the edge so I added a little meat to it.

Pre drilled, prepped and painted the 6x9 panels and sound deadened the back of the cab while I waited for the paint to dry.

Got the 6x9 panels, the speakers, and the sub/amp installed. Speaker wires are routed to the dash.

I'm doing a great job avoiding working on the bedsides, lol
