Reservation has been made at the Golden Leaf. One night only, how bad could it be. Great Price and walking distance to the museum and factory. Now all I need to do is make dinner reservations. Thanks Peter

Restaurant is 8.8 km from the Golden Leaf Hotel. Dumb question, but are taxis easy to get around Stuttgart as I will not have a car?
don`t forget to visit a wine tavern in Stuttgart

Is the beef in Germany good? I made the mistake of eating beef in France and it was like shoe leather. Later on my sister, who lives there, told me the French idea of beef is not the same as American and it all was like leather.

Can't be as bad as the Central American beef. I don't recall German beef being terribly bad but I guarantee that Central American beef is an exercise for your jaws!!

Great Porsche. And it is my lucky number, 23. That is a very valuable auto. I think those might have been then ones I used to watch race at Road Atlanta when I was a kid. Wish I could find the old pics.

Peter,thanks for the pics,I have been a porsche tech for 17 years,and the 917 is truly an amazing car.I think it went 0 to 100mph and back to 0 all in 10 seconds. I bet 99% of people never new porsche built tractors! Those are super rare over here in the states.

Great video Peter. The sound of that motor is incredible. And he was not even pushing it like the old days. I love anything Porsche. I have owned a number over the years and they are always my favorite and will continue to be. I would love to come home from Germany with a nice 69-73 long nose 911, but I imagine they are more expensive in Germany than the US?
