Do you have pics of the various transfers for comparison?

Can see how much the VC housing adds to OAL.

There is also an HF1A with electric actuator? That is what I have... right?

And also variations with a shifter on the top, in-line with the transmission shifter and one with the shifter to the right of the Trans shifter (like in the FJ40/60 series layout) Right?

Not sure where to post it as a "Reference" thread.

Me, either, but I'd hate to polish my tarnished reputation with a tech thread.

The top plates on 80/100 specific H151Fs (yours) and the 7X (mine) are definently different, which I'm glad to have seen your pics to finally confirm, although I'd already assume when placing the current order they're filling with 80 variants.

Another interesting item noted by your pics is the bosses for the manual, non electric, HF1A shifter on the side of your H151F housing. I didn't think that'd be the case on the 80/100 variants since they're were very few equipped without the electric HF1A (yours), limited to only the true poverty pack "base" models in Oz and the Middle East.

Anyhow, we junked up your thread, which maintains the tarnished image I work so hard for on Mud, enough.

I'll gladly delete these diversionary posts at your request or a mod may on my behalf, as they see fit.

I understand, thanks in advance for all the previous and future info.. I'm in the process of mating 2uz to h151f into my 80 , in has been a really slow process as well due to the same reasons... Cheers

Yes... it HAS been over 5 YEARS since I made any significant progress on this project. I did do a good amount of tear down of the LV in preparation for any body work and prime/paint but otherwise... nada, until just recently.
Tear down

The big news (for me anyway) is that I have made some progress on what had become the roadblock in this project for me: the 2UZ.

Tonight I finished up working out/hooking up the Spitronics harness and associated basic wiring to a universal/test ignition switch and battery and turned over the engine for the first time since I've had it. I know this should be a non-event but for me this is a big deal.

Once I get fuel to it it'll be time to try a first start... parts are on the way so stay tuned.

Congrats on the ressurection of the project.

I'm almost 3 years in...oh how time flies in the garage cutting and replacing LV rust :bang:. I'm enjoying the process and slowly, slowly it's coming back to life.
