Junky: funny thing, when it came time to mount it, I wasn't sure just where exactly it should go. I enlarged a pic of your hood until I had a good idea and went with that. The Master cylinder is from Wilwood. I'll let you know how it works.

Thanks! anychance you have a partnumber?

And what did you use for the adapter from the 3 bolt style to 2. This could work very nicely for me...since I have no vacuum...:grinpimp:

Looks like you nailed it. The emblem looks great with all the other chrome you've got up front.

Impressive! Thats all I can say!! WOW! I love the instrument cluster! How did you go about that if you don't mind the inquiry!

Thanks-
Jeff

Jeff, changing over to the digital dash was very simple. They required the complete unit and suggested it to be painted first. I decided on a six gauge cluster. Can't remember the turn around time, too long ago now. Maybe 60 days. The old gauges were shipped back with finished product. I did however lose the light socket for the high beams bulb.

Wow is right!

I really like the custom gauge panel. After visiting the web site I can see why you are afraid to add up the costs! $595 for a digital gauge made to fit the Cruiser is actually not that bad. (Assuming you paid what others listed on the site go for?) Did that come with all the sensors or were those extra?

Coolerman, It seems I paid more than $595.00. Somewhere around $700.00
I think. The oil and water sensor were included. There is a control box that I have mounted under the dash on the drivers side. All instrument wires come into this box and a thin ribbon cable that connects to the cluster. There are two temporary button switches that will be used to calibrate the speedo and tach.
Back in 2000, I drove down to Earl Wardens place south of Missoula with the thought of buyiny his truck. "Junk Yard Dog". Great truck but decided to find my own for a project. There was a really nice 40 sitting there and it had digital
instruments. I knew I just had to have that feature.

Amazing job on the truck! Wish mine looked half as good!!!

I just got an estimate from Dakota to do my gauges. Roughly $975. Bit too much for me.

Fantastic looking truck, I think your mods are some of the most tastefully done that I have ever seen, it still screams cruiser, yet it is SO practical for driving!

Two thumbs WAY up!
