1965 fj40L color questions

Hi, I have a 65 fj40L, titled as a 66, color is lily white, are the bumperettes painted to match body or are they silver?, what about the license plate frame?, thanks, Pete

Welcome to Mud! The bumpers, front and rear are grey. Do a search for 1965 restoration, there are some nice rigs being built. Also, do a search for paint color, you will have a wealth of information.

Experts please chim in, I asked this question a while back in my thread (I think) and got a different answer. Rear bumperets, front turn signals, rear license plate bracket, gas tank and side mirror all body color. Mine Is a 65 titled as a 66 as well.

Getting closer to paint time so I want to get it right!

ive owned 8 or 10 65s and the turn signals were all body color ,the gas tanks were all black,liscense plate holder body color.never paid attention to the rear bumpers hope this helps.
