This is number 12016. Had it acouple years it’s time to pass it along as 9 cruisers are hard to keep all going and the money can be used elsewhere, going to add a bathroom so there’s More space for my 3 girls as they get older. just trying to recoup some of my money I’ve put in. Posting here before it goes onto bat. I’ll be taking a bunch of pictures this weekend of it. So if anyone has certain things they want to see or if any interest let me know thanks. 92k miles if you look it up by vin there’s a lot on mecums site. Restore was done about 2012-2014. Don’t know much about that side. Since I’ve had it I’ve done the refurbished tin cups. New seat upholstery, fixed firewall from leaky master. Thrown away the old broken non oem pto. I have a factory pto and all parts to go with it but no driveline for the pto. Just got done painting a new window vent for it to throw away the garbage that someone else did. You’ll see it in photos but new painted to match one will go on as soon as gasket arrives. Will also be throwing on wheels and tires from my other 45 painted Cygnus white with new toyo allterains. Have a factory big window sd40 that I’ve never got to run right since purchasing so it will come with but runs great with carb on it. Looking to get 40 out of it. anyone seriously interested reach out. I’ll help with shipping if it’s full offer

Asking?

Im new to the 45s, so prob a clown question…. Short bed and fixed cab?

@CarcaineProblems Correct one of a handful of 62s in the states. But yes short bed and solid cab. Late 64 was still short bed solid cab but different bed and the windshield had brackets in place of hinges. Lots of little changes in the early years on the trucks. And not many of any of them.

which windshield flap is currently installed?
1 pic shows an external piano hinge
and the other pics show the correct rubber flap hinge

Fixed the windshield flap to being correct from that garbage piano hinge that P.O. had. although it is the newer style that bolts together instead of being spot welded, it’s what I had so it went to bare metal. Has two coats primer and 4 coats of single stage and add clear 1:1 on last coat. Says this in the first description.

Well not going BaT we don’t seem to agree ever on anything. Have tried listing 3 vehicles with them and never made it far enough to not tell them to pound sand. Although I could import a pos throw. 1000 paint job on it and get a higher reserve. Anyways going to try a few other avenues probably will ship back to the mainland and who knows may end up tearing it down and parting out if I can’t get a reasonable price for it. Could make almost all my money back selling the cab for what BaT wanted reserve. If there’s any interest in the truck let me know and see if we could work out a deal. Would do partial trade for a fj or 80 series also

Tearing it down and parting out? Your talking crazy. Looks too nice for that! Give it some time someone will come a long. I bought a rebuilder now all these great rigs show up. Figures

If I can’t get a fair price then I’ll get as much as I can back in parts. I’ll give it awhile and then do what I have to. But I can tell you I will not see someone else driving it for 20k

Might want to post it here for more traffic/eyes:

and

And any other FB group that’s Toyota related. All are free to post.

Well it’s live on BaT after many emails back and forth and discussions we came to a reasonable reserve. See what happens. And then 2 hours of it’s going live at this time to getting home and finding out it’s live. Hard to check emails and such all day but I see what happens
