Well you jinxed me Bob...
Came out this morning to bolt the shocks on and realized I never tried them with the calipers installed, the parking brake mechanism is in the way.

Wait for parts and paint to dry

I dug the 54 out yesterday and started taking it apart and looking at the wiring mess.
I'll get pictures soon of the 54 Bob , I only had these of the 59 on my phone/picture taking machine.

This morning I'm waiting for a torque converter, transmission oil pan and filter all tied up in some mystery shipping black hole...
So I guess I'll start trying to figure out how to get some front brakes.. because I set my track width with the narrower mustang 2 9" front rotors I can't use the redly available Granada 11-in rotors, in the interest of doing this on the cheap and not spending $2000.00 for the aftermarket billet front brakes I decided to make my own 11" rotors from some 9" mustang ii rotors.

Step one find some random pieces of wood and get the Kelsey Hayes style calipers in the approximate location.

Take some measurements and make a sample bracket..

Test fit sample bracket and start coming up with the plan to make a permanent bracket..
To be continued......

Painted..

Hopefully I can put the front end back together and get the tires back on then get the engine and transmission installed..

What’s the seat outta?
