Well off to the junkyard this afternoon to buy some more hydro boost, I spent yesterday making a mount and then discovered both units I have here have bad accumulators. Once the brake pedal is mounted I should be able to start welding up firewall holes and paint..

This stupid part took more time than it should have..

But it's done now and I think it's going to hold the bottom of the steering column fine..

Brake / clutch / steering column all went through the floor in that area...

I walked down and looked, sure is the same. I believe the cabs are the same 1/2 ton up to the 2 ton, just the fenders and hood are wider. That indentation piece looks smaller on the computer than it is. Good job making that plate. My clutch pedal hole is worn out, so I'm thinking yours was too.

EDIT... No German designed that indentation, too many non functional curves.

I made the patch out of stainless and gave it a lot of surface area so I can bond it, I'll fill some of the other larger holes this way and weld the rest.
