I finally picked this 1962 up from Cruiser Solutions today. It's a VERY late 1962 registered as a 1964, just like my other local hard top 1962 was. This one was from VT and Tedd had it for 15 years. The frame is the worst I've ever seen, and I live in NH, where cruisers rotted out before people were done making payment on them. It's quite interesting because it has a factory ashtray and the later doors with "normal" regulators. I haven't had a chance to dig in deeper to see if the doors are original. No turn signals, but my FST (another late 1962) seemed to have come from the factory with the singled sided version. Not much left to the old gal, but plenty of good parts for my 25 and LV.

It has the original 1962 trans and transfer.

I would have to dig up the paper work but the ashtray was a started sometime during 1962. Jim C parted out a 62 hardtop model and it had the same doors. The VIN plate also points out a very common model number that doesn't include the V for hard top at the end.

I'll review and get back to you. You have first dibs on anything I don't need.

Anyone else need anything? I'm looking to get this thing broken down soon.

I though it was me :(, with my wish list already in your inbox over a month ago. :crybaby:

I will add more to it with dibs on voltage regulator, horn relay, windshield rear view mirror and second dibs on carb.

Have a hinge myself. Thinking of using a long single piece gas tank strap to make the other piece. Doesn't that strap use the same felt as the gas tank strap. Have one HHH padlock to secure it.

Yea, the foam and clips are the same as the gas tank straps.

61,62 and early 63 fj40/45. I'm not familiar with fj25s but I think they had them together plus fq15 trucks but the one I seen is 24v.
