I need a confirmation as I'm about to hit the order button. Can anyone confirm that 15" wheels with a 2.5" backspacing will clear the brakes? I'm about to order a set but all I've heard is speculation, no proof!
Phil

(Hope so, 38.5"s on the way at the same time, pending confirmation

No, not on a 96. Must have the 16's or some thick spacers. May depend on your aftermarket wheels too, but typically, no.

This will be very close. I have seen some that pushed the wheel that far out, but it was still super close. I am inclined to say no from what I remember, but it's been a very long time since I saw the rig I'm thinking of. The entire caliper will essentially need to be outside the inner lip of the new wheel. You may be able to mock something up with your old wheels spacing them out to the same backspace and then measure in reducing the diameter.

The tires I want are only available in 15" rim diameter
Is this a 'stance' thing?
Typically, form follows function to get you there and back safely and reliably.
I know, safe and reliable is *boring*. But it is actually quite stylish when 'stance' fails to deliver. lol
