For sale: complete 12ht + h55f 5 speed gearbox.

This engine come from a hj61 which will be part out.
The roadtaxes here in The Netherlands will rising and rising last years and become so expensive for heavy diesel cars at the moment that its unaffordable anymore to drive this car. For that reason we break this car.

The engine is been overhauled almost 15K km ago.
What is done on the engine:
- Machined long block and head.
- Alfin Pistons
- OEM bearings, seals, gaskets and headgasket.
- reset the injectors to factory pressure
- Rebuild OEM turbo.
- Tested the injection pump. Rebuild wasn't required.

Gearbox has been overhauled as well.

Shipping incl. crate till the major ports of the US approx 700$

Haven't done it, but should be pretty easy. Definitely not much to hook up. Not certain about shifter location. Would likely be much like fitting a 60 driveline in a 40 I suspect.

A good friend here in Austin has a 12HT in a 45 with a five speed. I’ve seen the truck and looked under the hood but not looked at it in detail.

Should be pretty straight forward. I installed a 12HT in a 78 FJ40. You will have to modify your trans tunnel for the shifter location. I also cut and welded the shifter.

Hi, Yes it will fit. If youre serious interesed i can offer you all the parts you need to fit it in a 45 series.
Mountings/ exhaust/ intercooler/ radiator/ airbox etc..

Ive done it by my other car.
